Apparently our son has been gaining some weight. Here is the update from his Foster Home. Jacob received a package from his adoptive parents in the U.S. The package had a camera in it, and Jacob loves taking pictures with it. He likes getting all dressed up and putting on different clothes and taking pictures. He loves doing poses for the camera, with both arms in the air as if he is jumping, then one arm up and the other one down like superman. He also likes to put both arms up to make a “V” shape for the picture. He also likes to sit on his little push car and take pictures. He is so cute. He has gained some weight in the last month. When you tell him he is chubby, he uses both hands to cover his face and he smiles and laughs.
Jacob did have some challenges in the beginning of his life as he just didn't gain weight as fast as other kids his age due to his cleft. That doesn't seem to be a problem any longer. haha Wouldn't you say he looks like he is getting generous portions of food? I can't wait to squeeze those cheeks.
